RICHLAND COUNTY SPORTS COMPLEX
DESCRIPTION
The design of this 6,732-seat, 160,000 SF arena will accommodate multi-purpose use for a variety of local, regional and national sports organizations, civic groups and entertainment venues. The facility will include 18 multi-purpose courts, locker rooms, concession/warming-kitchen, office space, conference rooms, multi-purpose and broadcasting mezzanines, community rooms, retail space, athlete training room, fitness/weight room and community gallery/exhibit spaces. The facility will incorporate an HVAC system that maintains high air quality and reduces odors from sporting events. Considerations for lighting and sound reduction are design features to ensure a quality environment to attract top indoor sporting events.
