BROWNSTONE EXCEEDING GOALS

Brownstone has exceeded the Owner’s goal of 30% MBE Participation on the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital by securing 38% MBE Participation. Within this participation rate, over $12 Million is slated to be contracted directly with African-American owned companies. Additionally, approximately 82% of the current workforce on the project is comprised of local workers, the majority of which reside in the Charleston area.
