DESCRIPTION

Work has been completed at Richland School District Two’s Center for Achievement.  Located on an existing campus with Lake Carolina Elementary and Kelly Mill Middle Schools,  CFA serves the unique needs of students requiring additional attention in Grades 1 through 5. Construction of the new building consisted of an approximate 35,000 square foot facility to accommodate 250 students who were also housed in portables on campus.  The new state of the art facility contains classroom spaces, a centrally located Media Center, a Multipurpose Room and other support spaces.  An exterior Amphitheater was also constructed in the exterior playground area to enhance outdoor learning at the facility. Extreme care was taken to complete this project without disrupting three active schools on site.
